Two new homes were started in January 2009
and were sold and closed in August 2009.
Two more spec
homes were started in September 2009 for completion in the 4th quarter of 2009.
One more spec home will be strarted in mid November for completion in 1st quarter 2010.
The quotes for work on Primera Road may go out in October 2009. It is not clear if the funding
is available. I will update as soon as I can confirm information.
The addition of drainage under Highway 77, business 77 and railroad appears to be delayed due to the difficulty in
dealing with the railroad. The railroad takes a great deal of time to approve. I was told that this project is
funded. Completion of this project will greatly reduce the possablity of flooding since it will take our drainage and
the drainage north of Primera to a different major drainage ditch. Currently, all of this water meets at the same place
that the water south of Wilson does.
The drainage under
Primera Road at the junction of the railroad west of Sturat Place Road is again being slowed due to approval of the railroad.
When this drainage is in place, it should elimaniate the water flowing into the entrance at Autrey Drive.
